Founded in 1918 on Pali Highway, the Nu'uanu Y serves the heart of the city and lists a sauna among its amenities, alongside a heated saltwater pool, locker rooms and a fitness centre. A multi-purpose indoor court is used for basketball, pickleball and racquetball, and the branch also teaches Hawaiian language, hula and ukulele. Membership carries no annual contract. Open weekdays 5am to 9pm.
