Laugar Spa is an adults-only (18+) spa inside the World Class Laugar fitness centre in Laugardalur, next to Laugardalslaug pool. It has seven saunas (Finnish, steam, herbal, infrared, salt and bio), hand-carved granite cold pools, a six-metre indoor waterfall and a lounge with heated loungers, with no time limit on a visit. Spa access costs 8,100 ISK including towel and robe; open weekdays 6:00–22:30 and weekends 8:00–22:00.
Grafarvogslaug
Grafarvogslaug is a neighbourhood geothermal pool in the Grafarvogur district of north-east Reykjavík, popular with families and swimmers; it opened in 1998 and has been extended since. Alongside indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs and large water slides it has a sauna, a steam room, an infrared sauna and a cold tub. Open weekdays 6:30–22:00 and weekends 9:00–22:00.
Vesturbæjarlaug
Vesturbæjarlaug is a much-loved neighbourhood geothermal pool (sundlaug) in the Vesturbær district, a short walk west of the city centre. Besides the outdoor pool, children's pool and hot tubs it has a cold tub, a steam room, two saunas and a large infrared sauna added recently. Open weekdays 6:30–22:00 and weekends 9:00–22:00; the saunas open at 10:00 on weekends and the steam room closes on Fridays 13:00–15:00 for cleaning.

Árbæjarlaug is a bright, spacious family pool in the Árbær district of east Reykjavík, with an indoor pool connected to an outdoor pool, a children's pool, hot tubs and a popular water slide. For heat and cold it has a steam room, an infrared sauna and a cold tub. Open weekdays 6:30–22:00 and weekends 9:00–22:00.

Hreyfing is a fitness club in the Glæsibær building on Álfheimar whose spa is also sold to non-members. The indoor relaxation room has hanging chairs, an infrared sauna and a hot tub; the outdoor terrace has two hot tubs, a cold tub, a sauna and a steam bath. Spa access, including the gym, robe and towel, costs 6,900 ISK; the spa opens weekdays 7:00–19:00, Saturday 9:00–18:00 and Sunday 10:00–17:00.
