Laugar Spa is an adults-only (18+) spa inside the World Class Laugar fitness centre in Laugardalur, next to Laugardalslaug pool. It has seven saunas (Finnish, steam, herbal, infrared, salt and bio), hand-carved granite cold pools, a six-metre indoor waterfall and a lounge with heated loungers, with no time limit on a visit. Spa access costs 8,100 ISK including towel and robe; open weekdays 6:00–22:30 and weekends 8:00–22:00.
Sky Lagoon
Sky Lagoon is a geothermal lagoon on the Kársnes shore in Kópavogur, minutes from central Reykjavík, built around its seven-step Skjól Ritual: the 38–40°C lagoon, a 5°C cold plunge, a sauna at 80–90°C with seaside windows (a classic and a phone-free one), a cold mist, a body scrub, a 46°C steam room and a crowberry elixir. Open daily 9:00–22:00 until 20 October and 10:00–21:00 in winter; ritual passes start at about USD 130.

Breiðholtslaug is a family-friendly neighbourhood pool in Breiðholt, south-east Reykjavík, that began as a school swimming pool. It has indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, two water slides, a cold tub, a sauna and a steam room, and is known for its accessibility. Open weekdays 6:30–22:00 and weekends 9:00–22:00.
Dalslaug
Dalslaug is Reykjavík's newest public pool, in Úlfarsárdalur on the city's eastern edge, sharing its building with a branch of the City Library. It has a 25-metre six-lane outdoor pool, an indoor teaching pool, hot tubs, a wading pool and water slides, plus a steam room and a cold tub. Open weekdays 6:30–22:00 and weekends 9:00–22:00.
Grafarvogslaug
Grafarvogslaug is a neighbourhood geothermal pool in the Grafarvogur district of north-east Reykjavík, popular with families and swimmers; it opened in 1998 and has been extended since. Alongside indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs and large water slides it has a sauna, a steam room, an infrared sauna and a cold tub. Open weekdays 6:30–22:00 and weekends 9:00–22:00.

Laugardalslaug in the Laugardalur valley is the largest swimming pool in Iceland, with a 50-metre outdoor pool, an indoor pool certified for competitions, children's pools and water slides. Its heat option is a steam room, with a cold tub for contrast; Laugar Spa next door has dedicated saunas. Open weekdays 6:30–22:00 and weekends 8:00–22:00.
Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach
Nauthólsvík is Reykjavík's geothermal beach (Ylströndin), where imported golden sand and seawalls enclose a lagoon warmed with the city's excess hot water to about 15–19°C in summer. It has changing rooms and showers, hot tubs and a steam bath, and is a base for cold-water swimming in the bay. Adult entry is 1,500 ISK. Its site lists Tuesday to Friday 11:00–19:00 and Saturday 11:00–16:00, closed Sunday and Monday.

Sundhöll Reykjavíkur on Barónsstígur is one of the city's oldest public swimming pools and one of the most recognisable buildings in central Reykjavík, recently renovated. It has an indoor pool, hot tubs, a cold tub, a sauna, a steam room and a rooftop terrace with sun loungers. Open weekdays 6:30–22:00 and weekends 8:00–22:00; the indoor pool closes for school swimming on weekdays from 8:20 to 14:00 (Monday) or 15:00 (Tuesday to Friday).
Vesturbæjarlaug
Vesturbæjarlaug is a much-loved neighbourhood geothermal pool (sundlaug) in the Vesturbær district, a short walk west of the city centre. Besides the outdoor pool, children's pool and hot tubs it has a cold tub, a steam room, two saunas and a large infrared sauna added recently. Open weekdays 6:30–22:00 and weekends 9:00–22:00; the saunas open at 10:00 on weekends and the steam room closes on Fridays 13:00–15:00 for cleaning.

Árbæjarlaug is a bright, spacious family pool in the Árbær district of east Reykjavík, with an indoor pool connected to an outdoor pool, a children's pool, hot tubs and a popular water slide. For heat and cold it has a steam room, an infrared sauna and a cold tub. Open weekdays 6:30–22:00 and weekends 9:00–22:00.

Parliament Spa is the wellness area of the Iceland Parliament Hotel in central Reykjavík. Its hot and cold, wet and dry circuit has a geothermal tub, a sauna, a steam room and a cold mist, with private cabanas and a quiet relaxation room. Non-guests pay 9,500 ISK for spa access including robe and towel, and six-visit punch cards are sold for Monday to Thursday; open daily 9:00–19:30, minimum age 16.
