The house session is a fixed three-step round the operators call Sweat, Plunge and Reset: 15 minutes in the sauna, three minutes in the ice bath, ten minutes of recovery. It opens 10am to 8:30pm on weekdays and from 8:45am at the weekend, which makes it one of the later-closing sauna rooms in the eastern city.

A small recovery studio on Knox Street in Double Bay that combines a cedar sauna, a eucalyptus steam room and a halotherapy salt cave lined with Himalayan salt blocks and red travertine. Contrast circuits move between the cedar sauna, ice baths and a vitamin C shower, and private suites take up to three guests. It opens 8am to 8:30pm on weekdays and from 7am at weekends.
The Sauna Project Vaucluse
A mobile wood-fired Finnish sauna parked in the beach paddock at Vaucluse since June 2024, on one of the harbour's quieter beaches about ten minutes from Bondi. The session follows a set rhythm: "After about 15 minutes in the sauna, jump into the ocean or cool off in the fresh air. Repeat this process 3 times over 1 hour." The protected harbour beach makes the ocean plunge easy year round. Sessions are booked online, shared or private, and the same operator runs a second sauna at Palm Beach.
38° The Bathhouse
A 700 square metre bathhouse in the basement below Campbell Parade at Bondi Beach, opened on the site formerly trading as Slow House. The circuit takes in a "38 degree magnesium pool", a traditional salt sauna billed as Bondi's biggest, a steam room, cold plunges and ice baths, plus private infrared suites that can be booked on their own. Massage, facials and red light therapy are sold alongside the bathing.

A north shore bathhouse on the Pacific Highway with a 38C mineral pool, a traditional sauna, a steam room and ice baths, plus a Placebo Bar serving non-alcoholic drinks. Swimwear is compulsory: "Appropriate swimwear at all times — no nudity", and entry is 18+, or 16+ with a parent. Sessions run $39 for the 60-minute early bird up to $99 for two hours at weekends. Closed Mondays. The whole space can be hired privately from $1500.

"Our recently upgraded Turkish bath features an expanded heated marble slab", the centrepiece where therapists deliver the traditional foam and kese exfoliation.
