Stillwell Spa at Snowpine Lodge
Stillwell Spa is the spa of Snowpine Lodge at Alta, built into the original granite of the mine whose owner gave it its name. A dimly lit grotto holds a plunge pool, and a Finnish dry sauna and steam room sit alongside six treatment rooms. It opens daily from 9 AM to 6 PM; a $75 day pass is sold in limited numbers and comes free with any treatment of 50 minutes or longer.
The Cliff Spa
The Cliff Spa sits on the ninth and tenth floors of Snowbird's Cliff Lodge, half an hour up Little Cottonwood Canyon from the city. Cedar wood saunas, a eucalyptus-infused steam room and a quiet solarium sit beside a heated rooftop pool, hot tub and fire pits with canyon views. A guest day pass is $50 and includes a towel, robe, slippers and access to the facilities for the day.

The Grand Spa occupies its own wing of The Grand America Hotel on Main Street and is the city's first and only Forbes five-star spa. Its heat circuit is a Himalayan salt sauna and a eucalyptus steam sauna, backed by a 17-head experience shower, an indoor pool, a hot tub and a seasonal outdoor pool. Facilities run 8 AM to 10 PM Monday to Saturday, and day passes are sold through ResortPass.
