Djurgårdsbastun
Djurgårdsbastun is a small, deliberately simple sky-blue sauna floating in the Djurgården canal below the Stockholm 1897 restaurant by Djurgårdsbron, with bathing straight into the canal. It holds about ten people, with benches and a small bar outside. Open sauna costs 325 SEK per person for 120 minutes, or the whole sauna can be booked for up to ten people for 2,995 SEK. Towels are included, there is a changing room with a shower, and it is open all year.
Sätrabastun
Sätrabastun is a wood-fired public sauna on a raft at Sätrastrandsbadet in Skärholmen, owned by the district and run by volunteer hosts from Sätrabastuns Skötselförening. There is no booking and no membership: visitors pay 40 SEK by Swish at the door and take a queue ticket when it is full. Regular sessions are mixed on Fridays 17–20, women on Saturdays 13–16 and men on Sundays 13–16. It holds 12, and bathers cover up with swimwear, a towel or a sauna kilt.
Tanto Bastu
Tanto Bastu is a wood-fired sauna on a raft on Årstaviken in Tantolunden, Södermalm, run by the non-profit Tanto Bastuförening on municipal land. Members host public sessions most days: men on Tuesday evenings, mixed on Wednesday evenings and Friday and Sunday mornings, women on Thursdays and Saturdays. Tickets cost 60 SEK and are released three days ahead. The sauna holds 12, bathers swim from the raft, and swimwear is allowed in the sauna.
