Hornstullsbastun is the City of Stockholm's own public sauna on the Södermalm waterfront at Bergsunds strand. One electric sauna holds 16 people, and bookable 90-minute sessions for men, women or mixed groups cost 150 SEK, reserved online up to 30 days ahead. Bathers cool off with outdoor showers, sauna buckets and a swim. Open daily 06:30–21:30; swimwear must be worn throughout the visit.
STHLM Sauna Vinterviken
STHLM Sauna Vinterviken is a member-run, wood-fired sauna in the Vinterviken bay in Aspudden, opened in 2022 and looked after by its members. Non-members can book the limited guest places at open sessions: Yoga & Sauna on Mondays 11–13, a regular session on Wednesdays 17–19 and aufguss on Friday and Sunday mornings 07–09, from 105 SEK per session. The sauna holds ten, sessions last two hours, and swimwear is required.
