Glaecier
Glaecier is a floating sauna community on a purpose-built houseboat at Refshaleøen, with a panoramic sauna facing the harbour and a floating pool of filtered harbour water for cooling off. Membership runs through a waiting list, but non-members can book Open Gus on Tuesday evenings (18:30 and 20:30): three aromatic saunagus rounds broken by dips in the pool. A second Glaecier club on Havnegade is due to open in early 2027.
Københavns Badeklub – Flydende sauna ved Fisketorvet
This floating sauna at Havnebadet Fisketorvet was built by the City of Copenhagen and is run by the winter bathing club Københavns Badeklub. It seats 12 and sits beside a harbour dipping zone 1.15 m deep. Members use it daily in season, and the public can book a place in the shared sauna on Tuesdays and Sundays for 130 kr per person per 1.5 hours; guests must be 18 or over, and pouring water on the stove is not allowed.
Winter Island
Winter Island is a floating platform on Kalvebod Brygge, eight minutes' walk from Copenhagen Central Station, with four saunas for 8 to 10 people and the 30-person Horizon sauna, all with panoramic windows over the water. A place in a shared sauna costs 150 DKK per hour with no membership needed, whole saunas can be hired privately, and saunagus runs in Horizon. Cooling is by cold showers and splash buckets, since swimming from the island is not allowed.
