Sauna House
Sauna House is a sauna club by the water in Nordhavn with three saunas of different designs: a silent sauna, a conversation sauna with a view over the water, and a dark gus sauna for daily saunagus sessions. The cold area has cold showers, ice buckets and outdoor tubs. The saunas are for members, but guests can buy a day pass for 300 kr or a single saunagus for 250 kr. Swimwear must be worn, and guests must be 18 or over. Open daily 7:00 to 22:00.
Sofiebadet
Sofiebadet is a bathing and culture house in a bathhouse from 1909 in Christianshavn, run by an association. Its two-hour kurbad (300 kr) includes a sauna, a steam bath with salt scrub, a cold-water bucket and a cold tub, and the domed hammam hosts scrub treatments. Swimwear is compulsory, and Thursday from 16:00 is women only. Saunagus runs on Tuesday evenings (350 kr) from 11 August to 1 May, with a summer break.
DGI Byen Saunahuset
DGI Byen's Saunahuset is an architect-designed sauna house at the Vandkulturhuset swimming centre on Vesterbro, built around a large outdoor sauna with massage stones, aromatic herbs and cold showers. It offers daily access and guided saunagus of 40, 60 or 80 minutes (150, 200 or 250 kr) that include entry to Vandkulturhuset and end with juice and snacks outdoors. Swimwear and a large towel to sit on are compulsory.
